Hawaii official now swears: No Obama birth certificate

BORN IN THE USA?

Signs affidavit declaring long-form, hospital-generated document absent

© 2011 WorldNetDaily

Former Hawaii elections clerk Tim Adams has now signed an affidavit swearing he was told by his supervisors in Hawaii that no long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate existed for Barack Obama Jr. in Hawaii and that neither Queens Medical Center nor Kapi'olani Medical Center in Honolulu had any record of Obama having been born in their medical facilities.

Adams was employed at the City and County of Honolulu Elections Division from May 2008 through September 2008.

His position was senior elections clerk, overseeing a group of 50 to 60 employees responsible for verifying the identity of voters at the Absentee Ballot Office. It was in this capacity that Adams became aware of the search for Obama's birth-certificate records.

"During the course of my employment," Adams swears in the affidavit (viewable in full as part 1 and part 2), "I became aware that many requests were being made to the City and County of Honolulu Elections Division, the Hawaii Office of Elections, and the Hawaii Department of Health from around the country to obtain a copy of then-Senator Barack Obama's long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate."

As he inquired about the birth certificate, he says, his supervisors told him that the records were not on file at the Hawaii Department of Health.

"Senior officers in the City and County of Honolulu Elections Division told me on multiple occasions that no Hawaii long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate existed for Senator Obama in the Hawaii Department of Health," Adams' affidavit reads, "and there was no record that any such document had ever been on file in the Hawaii Department of Health or any other branch or department of the Hawaii government."

In a recorded telephone interview, Adams told WND that it was common knowledge among election officials where he worked that no long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate could be found at the Hawaii Department of Health.

"My supervisor came and told me, 'Of course, there's no birth certificate. What? You stupid,'" Adams said. "She usually spoke well, but in saying this she reverted to a Hawaiian dialect. I really didn't know how to respond to that. She said it and just walked off. She was quite a powerful lady."

Moreover, Adams was told that neither Queens Memorial Hospital nor Kapi'olani Medical Center had any records of Obama's birth at their medical facilities: "Senior officers in the City and County of Honolulu Elections Division further told me on multiple occasions that Hawaii State government officials had made inquires about Sen. Obama's birth records to officials at Queens Medical Center and Kapi'olani Medical Center in Honolulu and that neither hospital had any record of Senator Obama having been born there, even though Governor Abercrombie is now asserting and various Hawaii government officials continue to assert Barack Obama Jr. was born at Kapi'olani Medical Center on Aug. 4, 1961."

"We called the two hospitals in Honolulu: Queens and Kapi'olani," Adams stressed. "Neither of them have any records that Barack Obama was born there."

In 2009, WND documented that Obama and his supporters had first claimed he was born at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, before the story changed to Kapi'olani Medical Center in Honolulu.

After WND's report on the two conflicting hospitals, online news sites including the United Press International and Snopes.com scrubbed their websites to eliminate any reference to Queens Medical Center, substituting instead that Obama was born at Kapi'olani Medical Center without explaining the discrepancy or the correction.

In 2010, then-candidate for governor Neil Abercrombie was involved in an Obama birth controversy when he read a letter at a Kapi'olani Medical Center centennial dinner in Honolulu that supposedly was authored by President Obama, claiming Kapi'olani as his birth hospital.

As WND reported, the letter read by Abercrombie and initially displayed on the Kapi'olani website turned out to be a computer-created likeness of a letter using HTML code, the building blocks of Internet websites, not an actual paper letter.

The White House has still not confirmed it wrote or sent the letter.

Moreover, Adams claims, the Hawaii government was engaged in a cover-up designed to tell the American public through the Obama-supporting mainstream media that Obama was born in Hawaii, even though no long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Obama could be found on record in the Hawaii Department of Health.

In the affidavit Adams swears, "During the course of my employment, I came to understand that for political reasons, various officials in the government of Hawaii, including then-Governor Linda Lingle and various officials of the Hawaii Department of Health, including Dr. Chiyome Fukino, the director of the Hawaii Department of Health, were making representations that Senator Obama was born in Hawaii, even though no government official in Hawaii could find a long-form birth certificate for Senator Obama that had been issued by a Hawaii hospital at the time of his birth."

Adams further swears his supervisors told him to quit asking about Obama's birth records.

"During the course of my employment," Adams states in the affidavit, "I was told by senior officers in the City and County of Honolulu Elections Division to stop inquiring about Senator Obama's Hawaii birth records, even though it was common knowledge among my fellow employees that no Hawaii long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate existed for Senator Obama."

"I can go get my long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate," Adams told WND. "And so I don't understand, this whole controversy should have been settled three or four years ago in about five minutes."

Nor does Adams feel the short-form Certification of Live Birth is authoritative documentation proving that Obama was born in Hawaii.

"My basic assumption is that he wasn't born there," Adams said. "Certifications of Live Birth were given to people who were born at home, or to people who were born overseas and whose parents brought them back to the islands. If his parents were U.S. citizens, or if one parent was a U.S. citizen, as was the case with Obama, the family would apply for a Hawaiian birth certificate when the parents came back from overseas. That's normally how you would have gotten on [a Certification of Live Birth] in the 1960s."

WND has reported that in 1961, Obama's grandparents, Stanley and Madelyn Dunham, could have made an in-person request at the Hawaii Department of Health for a registration of a Hawaii birth, even if the infant Barack Obama Jr. had been foreign-born.

In the past few days, Abercrombie has represented that there is a registration of Obama's birth in the state archives.

But the state registration of birth in 1961 theoretically could prove only that the grandparents had registered Obama's birth, even if Obama was not born in Hawaii.

Similarly, the newspaper announcements of baby Obama's birth do not prove he was born in Hawaii, since the newspaper announcements could have been triggered by the grandparents appearing in-person to register baby Obama as a Hawaiian birth, even if the baby was born elsewhere.

WND has documented that the address reported in the birth announcements published in the Hawaii newspapers at the time, 6085 Kalanianaole Highway, was the address where the grandparents lived.

WND has also reported that Barack Obama Sr. maintained his own separate apartment in Honolulu at an 11th Avenue address, even after he was supposedly married to Ann Dunham, Barack Obama's mother, and that Ann Dunham left Hawaii within three weeks of the baby's birth to attend the University of Washington in Seattle.

Dunham did not return to Hawaii until after Barack Obama Sr. left Hawaii in June 1962 to attend graduate school at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass.

It's possible the yet-undisclosed birth record in the state archives that Abercrombie has discovered may have come from the grandparents registering baby Obama's birth, an event that would have triggered both the newspaper birth announcements and availability of a Certification of Live Birth, even if no long-form record exists.

WND has confirmed with Glen Takahashi, elections administrator for the city and county of Honolulu, that Adams was indeed working in their elections offices during the last presidential election.

"We hire temporary workers, because we're seasonal," Takahashi told WND.

Adams told WND he supported Hillary Clinton during the 2008 presidential election campaign.

He described himself as a libertarian who wants less government spending, fewer laws that restrict personal freedoms, more adherences to the Constitution and an end to foreign wars.

"I'm interested in individual liberty and upholding the Constitution," he said. "I want to get American troops out from foreign countries, and I want to see the federal budget balanced."

He said he might be inclined to support former-Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee or former-Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney in 2012 to run against President Obama, but he has not yet made up his mind.

"It depends on how fiscally conservative Huckabee and Romney turn out to be on economics," he said. "But from what I know right now, they would probably be better than Obama."

Faceoff! States tell feds to back down

REBELLION IN AMERICA

8 already considering plans simply to ignore Obama's health-care takeover

By Bob Unruh
© 2011 WorldNetDaily

President Barack Obama participates in a national tele-town hall meeting at the Holiday Park Multipurpose Senior Center with senior citizens to discuss the Affordable Care Act and ways to combat scams targeting seniors in Wheaton, Maryland on June 8, 2010.

What if Washington made a law and nobody paid attention? Or even more significantly, what if states specifically repudiated it and threatened to prosecute those enforcing it?

The questions no longer are rhetorical but a real option as eight states consider a blanket nullification of the Obamacare nationalization of health-care decision-making advances in their legislatures.

"Thomas Jefferson advised, 'Whensoever the general government assumes undelegated powers ... a nullification of the act is the rightful remedy,'" states the Tenth Amendment Center, which advocates a return to the constitutionally delegated powers for the federal government.

"When states pass laws to reject and nullify unconstitutional federal 'laws,' regulations and mandates – it's not rebellion ... it's duty," the organization states.

States already have been moving forward aggressively on several issues, with eight approving firearms freedom acts that reject some federal gun laws, 15 actively defying Washington on cannabis laws and seven passing acts that reject health-care mandates.

Now, however, they are moving a step beyond, according to center founder Michael Boldin.

He told WND today that seven states have introduced acts to nullify the federal health-care reform – including New Hampshire, Maine, Montana, Oregon, Nebraska, Texas and Wyoming. A similar proposal is expected to be filed in Idaho within a matter of days.

It's another, and very important, field on which states can battle federal demands of their citizens, he said.

Obamacare already has been repealed in the U.S. House, where the vote was 245-189, which included three Democrats backing repeal. While Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has promised to prevent the issue from coming up for discussion, Republicans say they will work on getting the Senate, which has a slight Democrat majority, to discuss the issue.

It was during House debate that Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., likened Republicans to the Nazis of World War II for trying to repeal Obamacare.

Boldin told WND that the idea that states would reject a Washington demand is not radical, it's reasonable. He said what's radical is "the idea that the federal government can be the final arbiter of the extent of its own powers."

Obamacare also is under fire in the federal court system, where one judge already has declared it unconstitutional even though two others, both Democrats, have affirmed it. Twenty-six states have joined in one particular challenge. But Boldin said the problem with that effort is that ultimately the outcome could rest on a decision from nine black-robed lawyers, the justices of the U.S. Supreme Court, who are Washington insiders.

To that hope, Boldin said, he had two words: Elena Kagan.

One of Obama's two appointees to the U.S. Supreme Court, Kagan expressed radical ideas during her confirmation hearings before the U.S. Senate but was approved by the Democrat-dominated body. Virtually no one expects she would rule against Obama, the man who appointed her to a lifetime position on the court.

"If the federales rule this [Obamacare] is unconstitutional, it's good," Boldin said. "But it has not solved the essential question ... the most important question in any society, is when the federal government violates the Constitution, what do we do about it?

"Do we wait for the Supreme Court to tell us to be free?" he said. "These nine unelected lawyers are not the determination of what the Constitution is. We the people are."

He cited President Andrew Jackson's opinion of the Supreme Court and its power: "'The Supreme Court has their opinion. Now let them come and enforce it."

The center reported that the states considering nullification of Obamacare are calling for penalties, including fines and jail time, for any agent seeking to enforce the federal provisions.

"It's really pretty simple," according to center communications director Mike Maharrey, "It's nothing more than states saying 'no' to unconstitutional acts.

"It sounds radical and extreme to a lot of people, but it was a concept articulated by James Madison and Thomas Jefferson just a few years after ratification of the Constitution. We can't depend on the feds to limit their own power. The states have a right and duty to interpose on behalf of their citizens."

The states' attempt to nullify Obamacare "is a sign to us that people will no longer just go to the federal government to solve problems created by the federal government. Instead, they seek to follow Thomas Jefferson's advice – when the federal government exercises undelegated powers – 'a nullification of the act is the rightful remedy,'" he said.

In Texas, the legislation is being led by Rep. Leo Berman, R-Tyler.

The measure would not only nullify the federal requirements but would include penalties of up to $5,000 in fines and up to five years in jail for anyone guilty of the "felony" of attempting "to enforce an act, order, law, statute, rule or regulation" of Obamacare.

The bill says the federal act:

(1) is invalid in this state;

(2) is not recognized by this state;

(3) is specifically rejected by this state; and

(4) is null and void and of no effect in this state.

It provides that "a person who is an official, agent, or employee of the United States or an employee of a corporation providing services to the United States commits an offense if the person enforces or attempts to enforce an act, order, law, statute, rule, or regulation of the United States in violation of this chapter."

Madison said:

That this Assembly doth explicitly and peremptorily declare, that it views the powers of the federal government, as resulting from the compact, to which the states are parties; as limited by the plain sense and intention of the instrument constituting the compact; as no further valid that they are authorized by the grants enumerated in that compact; and that in case of a deliberate, palpable, and dangerous exercise of other powers, not granted by the said compact, the states who are parties thereto, have the right, and are duty bound, to interpose for arresting the progress of the evil, and for maintaining within their respective limits, the authorities, rights and liberties appertaining to them.

Even though the odds may be against the proposal becoming law, every time it is considered, a statement is made, Boldin said.

"Whether or not there's any guarantee of getting something passed is no reason to not do what's right," he said. "Champions look at insurmountable odds and take them on with passion, and that's what 'We the People' need to do in defense of our liberty."

DeMint, Jordan, Garrett Unveil Spending Reduction Act

by Katie Pavlich

Senator Jim DeMint, in partnership with Chairman of the Republican Study Committee (RSC) Rep. Jim Jordan and Chairman of the RSC Budget and Spending Task force Scott Garrett, have unveiled their solution to reducing federal spending in order to address the crippling amount of debt the United States currently holds.

Jordan pointed out the amount of debt is nearly the size of our entire economy and has grown from $8.6 trillion just four years ago to more than $14 trillion today and that spending cuts have to be addressed in order to prevent falling further into debt.

The Spending Reduction Act is the first step to halting mounting debt and if passed will save taxpayers $2.5 trillion through 2021. Spending cuts outlined in the bill would take place immediately and throughout the next decade.

DeMint referred to the legislation as a way to make tough decisions in order to preserve freedom rather than sending the country over the edge into bankruptcy.

NRO outlines some of the cuts:

– Reducing the federal workforce by 15 percent through attrition, and eliminating automatic pay increases for the next five years.

– Eliminating all remaining “stimulus” funding. $45 billion

– Privatizing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. $30 billion

– Prohibiting any funding of the implementation — or legal defense — of Obamacare.

– Cutting the federal travel budget in half. $7.5 billion annually

– Cutting the federal vehicle budget by 20 percent. $600 million annually

– Eliminating the Corporation for Public Broadcasting subsidy. $445 million annually

– Eliminating Amtrak subsidies. $1.565 billion annually

– Repealing Title X Family Planning. $318 million annually
– Repealing the Davis-Bacon Act (which sets “prevailing wages” for workers on federal projects). $1 billion-plus annually

– Prohibiting taxpayer funded union activities by federal employees.

$1.2 billion savings over ten years

Paul Ryan: A Republican to Watch

Interview with Rush Limbaugh

TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Grab audio sound bite number 13, Mike. We don't have Paul Ryan from Greta last night. We do have him yesterday afternoon, Wall Street Journal, Conversations With, he talked to Paul Gigot. And this is a small sound bite, but Ryan, pay attention to him, brilliant guy. Budget matters, brilliant guy. Gigot said, "Some Democrats criticize you for backtracking on the promise, campaign promise, hundred billion-dollar deficit reduction, can you respond to that charge you're already backtracking, is that true?"

RYAN: If people think we're afraid of cutting a hundred billion dollars they got another thing coming. This is just the beginning. Wait 'til we do our budget resolution; wait 'til we do our fiscal year 2012 spending bills, we're gonna keep going.

RUSH: That's the Paul Ryan that I know. I met Paul Ryan. Paul Ryan was an intern at Empower America when Jack Kemp and Bill Bennett ran that shop in Washington. I flew up there one weekend to meet Bennett for a weekend of revelry and they took me by the office, and Paul Ryan was in there as an intern. He remembered meeting me, he told me that was the first place that we met, and so there he was, interned for Kemp and Bennett, Empower America, Forbes and all that, bammo. And here he is now running the budget for the US Republicans in the Congress, saying, "A hundred billion? Hell. That's just the beginning."

A Letter to The Honorable Harry Reid

By Addison Wiggin

01/08/11

The Honorable Harry Reid
Majority Leader
United States Senate
Washington, DC 20510

Dear Mr. Leader,

I’m writing in response to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s appeal to you to raise the debt ceiling.

I understand that you didn’t ask for my opinion. And with no political positions on my curriculum vitae, you may not even recognize my name. But I have co-authored two books warning about the United States’ fiscal situation, starting with Financial Reckoning Day in 2003 and followed by Empire of Debt in 2005. I mailed copies of the latter to you and the other members of Congress free of charge. While it may not be sitting on your nightstand, I trust that you’re at least aware of the book.

After we published the book, I wrote and produced a documentary, I.O.U.S.A., which was screened in competition at the Sundance Film Festival, nominated for a Critics Choice award and shortlisted for an Academy Award. The film attempts to present the fiscal crisis facing the United States in a way that the average American could understand. The film took two years to produce and premiered on Aug. 22, 2008 – almost a month before Lehman Bros. declared bankruptcy, kicking off the Panic of ’08.

So after a decade of attempting to bring the root causes of our economic woes to light, I humbly suggest that the shortsighted tone of Mr. Geithner’s appeal is itself part of the problem. It is, in fact, no different than Secretary of Treasury Hank Paulson’s frantic three-page proposal that kicked off the bailouts in September 2008.

Sir, in short, by raising the debt ceiling, we’re delaying the day of reckoning yet again. Instead of paying for our excessive spending today, we’ll pass that burden on to our children and grandchildren. I have three young children. And I, like many Americans, already find it a challenge to educate them and provide for their health care. Now I must also worry about what their future is going to look like…what opportunities will they find when it’s their turn to join the work force or start businesses?

Mr. Geithner shares his fears of a default in his letter to you. But his request simply means my children – everyone’s children – will have to deal with that default on their own.

Do we really want our children burdened by higher taxes, excessive government regulation, higher mortgage rates, reduced incentives to start their own businesses and, as things are going, the end of the freedoms that you, Mr. Geithner, the rest of the American public and I cherish?

Freedom is the very promise that America bestows on history. But now, through our own malfeasance, we are in a position of telling the world, “We cannot afford to offer you the opportunity to enjoy that freedom anymore.”

How did it come to this? And why perpetuate the very malfeasance that threatens our future prosperity?

For most of America, understanding the fiscal condition of the nation is no easy task. For that, they place their trust in you. No doubt, it’s easier to do exactly what our Treasury secretary is asking you to do – ignore the problem and continue to kick the can down the road. But I’m asking you, on behalf of future generations, to think deeper about the problem and begin addressing it today.

To help you with your decision, here are some images you can use to illustrate the magnitude of the national burden.

As Mr. Geithner stated in his letter to you, “In February of 2010, Congress passed legislation to increase the debt limit to $14.29 trillion.” To grasp that staggering figure, imagine stacking $100 bills on top of one another. To reach $14.29 trillion, your stack would soar 9,721 miles into the sky!

Said a different way, that’s like 1,767 mountains of $100 bills the size of Mount Everest piled on top of each other.

Of course, the current debt wouldn’t be a problem if tax revenue were exceeding our spending and therefore reducing the debt. But we both know that is not happening. Even if we taxed all Americans 100% of their income for an entire year, we still wouldn’t be able to pay off our $14.29 trillion hole

What’s more, the interest we’re paying on the current debt is forcing us deeper and deeper into the hole. According to the TreasuryDirect.gov website, the interest payment on our debt was a massive $1.13 billion per dayfor a total of $413 billion – in 2010.

The interest payment alone amounts to record-breaking deficits hit during the Bush administration just a few short years ago. If you agree to raise the ceiling, you effectively agree to drive up the interest payments until they exceed tax revenue – creating a situation in which we’ll be forced to default, eventually. And the longer it takes to happen, the worse it will be for our children.

The Treasury secretary outlines how catastrophic a default would be for the financial system and the integrity of the United States:

Default would effectively impose a significant and long-lasting tax on all Americans and all American businesses and could lead to the loss of millions of American jobs.

When, I ask you, do we begin addressing the root problem? When do we admit that we’re spending beyond our means and begin to address the problem in earnest? “We can live beyond our means for a very long time,” to paraphrase a leading financier from I.O.U.S.A., “and we can do it on a very large scale – but we cannot do it forever.”

The United States is like a private company suffering from a pension burden it did not plan for and that is losing market share because its products are no longer competitive. And it is as if the management has decided to take an extended vacation, rather than hold a meeting to find a way out of the hole.

In Congress, you don’t address the real problems. You talk around them, play politics with them and then make frantic appeals at the 11th hour to borrow more money to paper over the problems again for yet another year.

At this pace, how do you honestly believe the government will ever balance its books again? In the era of uncertainty created by mayhem in Washington and ever-increasing global competition, how do you expect the economy to get back on track?

Let’s put the numbers aside for a second. I’d like to ask you a simple question:

Imagine for a moment that you’ve chosen to smoke cigarettes all your life. You’ve ignored the warnings about them that appear all around you. Then, eventually, and unfortunately, you get diagnosed with lung cancer.

Luckily, you’ve caught the disease in its very early stages. The doctor presents you with two choices.

First, you can enter chemotherapy. The road to recovery, the doctor tells you, will be harsh. You’ll suffer extreme nausea. You’ll hardly be able to swallow from the ulcers you develop in your mouth. In short, you’ll go through hell in an attempt to beat the disease. But because you caught the disease after the first symptoms appeared, you have a high chance at a full recovery.

The doctor also offers a second alternative. He’s worked out a deal that allows you to rid yourself of the disease instantly. No pain. No suffering. No hell. All you have to do is agree to give the disease to your 2-year-old grandson.

Would you make that deal, Mr. Leader?

I trust you’ll make the right decision about our nation’s fiscal health. At the very least, there needs to be an honest debate over raising the debt ceiling. If you provide the rubber stamp Mr. Geithner is asking for, you will be as guilty as he of passing the buck. Each time the buck gets passed, the stakes get higher. The default Mr. Geithner fears only looms more ominous in our future.

The newly elected speaker of the House, John Boehner, has gone on record saying he’ll agree to increase the debt limit because we have to be “adults” about addressing the fiscal crisis the nation faces.

What, may I ask, is “adult” about failing to address this issue altogether?

Sincerely,

Meet the House party crasher, the U.S. House, that is

WND Exclusive
BORN IN THE USA?

Protester charges Obama a 'tyrannical dictator' bent on bringing down U.S.

By Bob Unruh
© 2011 WorldNetDaily

The woman who burst out with "except Obama" when New Jersey Democrat Rep. Frank Pallone today read in Congress the Constitution's requirement that the president be a "natural born Citizen" says she felt compelled to let representatives know of the absence of proof for Barack Obama's eligibility.

Theresa Cao, who was arrested by Capitol police, given a court date and then released, told WND in a telephone interview after her release, while she was standing in front of the Hart Office Building near the Capitol, that the only hope for the United States is a return to the faith of the Founding Fathers.

And that direction, she said, is opposite from the one Obama is leading the nation, citing his "socialism," such as a nationalized health-care system and the takeover of private companies including banks, insurance companies and car companies.

Get the free, in-depth special report on eligibility that could bring an end to Obama's presidency

She said she had come to the U.S. House chambers to see the launch of the new Congress under the leadership of the Republicans. She said she was overwhelmed when the Constitution was being read, which came about as part of an effort by the new GOP majority to return the nation to a sense of its founding principles.

Pallone was reading Article II, Section 1, regarding the required qualifications for the president, which demand that the president be a "natural born Citizen," when she burst out, "except Obama."

"Literally if this question of the natural born citizenship, if this question does not get answered, then I am allowing a tyrannical dictator – the spirit of the anti-Christ, the new world order system that has their plans right this second to collapse the U.S. economy, and we know their plan, the new world order system's plan is to literally destroy humanity," she said.

She said "God made sure" that such a message "got out to every single American leader and every leader [now] knows the truth.

"He [Obama] has fought it not only for two years, not only has he fought it pre-election but historically all of his connections, every single connection [has been] blacked out."

Her description of the day's events was permeated with explanations of her belief that the God of the Bible is being abandoned by America, especially under Obama's rule because of his leanings toward "one-world" endeavors, through the United Nations and other channels.

"It's prophesied this new world order system will devastate America and the world, and Satan's plan is to take as many people to hell with him as he can," she said.

"God is saying, 'no way,'" she said.

Cao told WND she obtained tickets for the House gallery a day early, and was impressed by the idea that a House speaker would be dedicated to doing "the will of the people," following California Rep. Nancy Pelosi's tenure at the speaker's desk, which included forcing the Obamacare mandate on Americans even though a majority oppose it.

"I knew that this was truly a historic moment in the history of America. … I heard John Boehner, the new House speaker. It was overwhelming to understand and know finally we have a House majority leader who will make it a priority to do the will of the people."

She said she saw in the incoming Congress what her own ministry, "Heaven's bailout," has been working on for several years.

"It's all about defending God, country and the Constitution."

"I understood that I as an American [needed] to do my part to defend God's country and the Constitution, that when and if America does become a nation that is going to be really not just socialist, fascist or communist, but really controlled by a dictator, if I, TC from DC, personally did not do something to 'change' what was going on for the good and to bring true 'hope,' I would have failed."

It was almost a year ago when she was profiled in WND as a lone woman evangelist delivering the message that "heaven is offering a 'bailout' far greater than dollars."

At the time, Cao told WND, "I have a standard location literally right in front of the White House" – encouraging people to follow the Bible to see God's miracles on earth and its companion warning of punishment for those who disobey.

The message applies not only to individuals but to nations, she believes.

"Most Americans really are asleep concerning what's taking place," she said then. "People are willing to hand over their God-given rights and the Constitution to the prevailing wicked forces."

The video reveals she shouted what sounded like, "except Obama, except Obama," and "Help us Jesus."

She said officers grabbed her arm and took her out of the chamber. She was processed, cited and released after several hours, she said.

She also has been an staunch advocate for former Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, the Army doctor who challenged Obama's eligibility to be president by refusing to deploy to Afghanistan. After a military judge ruled he would not be allowed to seek evidence to support his case because it could "embarrass" the president, could not argue his case in court, could not bring in evidence and could not call the witnesses he sought, he was court-martialed.

"I took a personal responsibility knowing that if I did not speak what was so deep in my heart … I would first and foremost be responsible to the God of Israel," Cao told WND.

She warned that the leaders of the U.S. repeatedly have rejected requests that Obama's eligibility be documented.

"You have been brought up to become leaders of this nation," she said. "You have not defended God, country and the Constitution."

In an interview with NBC not long after the interruption, House Speaker John Boehner said he wouldn't question Obama's eligibility, but he also wasn't going to dictate what other people believe.

Asked by NBC, "It was to express doubt over the president's American citizenship. Provided you believe the president is an American citizen, you've got 12 members co-sponsoring legislation that does about the same thing, it expresses doubt. Would you be willing to say, 'This is a distraction, I've looked at it to my satisfaction. Let's move on?'"

"The state of Hawaii has said that President Obama was born there. That's good enough for me," Boehner said.

But when NBC asked, "Would you be willing to say that message to the 12 members in your caucus who seem to either believe otherwise or are willing to express doubt and have co-sponsored legislation?," Boehner said, "When you come to the Congress of the United States, there are 435 of us. We're nothing more than a slice of America. People come, regardless of party labels, they come with all kinds of beliefs and ideas. Uh it's, it's the melting pot of America. It's not up to me to tell them what to think."

Actually, state officials in Hawaii have claimed they have seen Obama's birth documentation, but they never have revealed what it says. The "Certification of Live Birth" that was posted online by Obama's campaign is a computer-generated form that can be obtained by non-residents.

The reading of the Constitution was described by those on the left as being done because of a "fetish."

That's how it was put by Dahlia Lithwick of Slate.com, who wrote, "Read It and Weep: How the tea party's fetish for the Constitution as written may get it in trouble."

"The way some people rub Buddha and they think the magic will come off, I think there's a longstanding tradition in this country. We're awfully religious about the Constitution," she later told MSNBC. "I think there is this sort of fetishization that is of a piece with the sort of need for a religious document that's immutable and perfect in every way."

She added: "Part of what's a little bit fraud about this conversation is that the same people who are fetishizing the document as written, as framed by the framers – and bracket the idea that there wasn't one framer and there was no one agenda embodied in this – but even if you bracket that idea, I think there's a real problem with the idea that we're trying to sort of fetishize the document at the same moment that we're falling over ourselves to amend and change the parts we don't like."

Lithwick's remarks came under heavy fire from Rush Limbaugh, the top-rated radio host, who ripped into that sentiment.

"They're perverts themselves," Limbaugh said. "These are perverts perverting the founding documents. If the Constitution's not that big a deal, how come the same people had such a cow when they thought Christine O'Donnell didn't know what she was talking about regarding the Constitution? If it's so unimportant, how come Obama's so proud to have been a constitutional lawyer or professor or lecturer, whatever he was?

"Abraham Lincoln. They hate him? Abraham Lincoln had a fetish for the U.S. Constitution? Here's what Lincoln said among many other things: 'We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.' That's Lincoln. Is he a pervert? Lincoln have a fetish? Lincoln also said, 'Don't interfere with anything in the Constitution. That must be maintained, for it is the only safeguard of our liberties.'"

Syndicated columnist and commentator Charles Krauthammer said the objection to reading the Constitution aloud by many on the left "is truly astonishing."

He said on Fox News that in the 1960s, "Liberals got in trouble for being on the wrong side of the flag," and are now in danger of being on the wrong side of the Constitution, which he called "the essence of America." He noted for liberals to think there's an advantage in dismissing the public reading of the document "is real bad politics."

Members of the U.S. House rotated by party as they read short parts of the Constitution. The House also for the first time this session is requiring members to document the constitutionality of their plans when they are proposed.

WND has reported on dozens of legal challenges to Obama's status as a "natural born citizen." The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

Some of the challenges question whether he was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama's American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time.

Other challenges have focused on Obama's citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born.

Several of the cases have involved appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court in which justices have declined even to hear arguments. Among the other cases turned down without a hearing at the high court have been petitions by Mario Apuzzo, Philip Berg, Cort Wrotnowski, Leo Donofrio and Orly Taitz.

Complicating the situation is Obama's decision to spend sums estimated in the hundreds of thousands of dollars to avoid releasing a state birth certificate that would put to rest the questions.

Obama wrote in his own book that he was born a dual citizen of the U.S. and Great Britain due to the fact his father was a subject of the British crown when Obama was born.
